You are going to have quite a shopping list, if you only have the frame and engine.

Paddy's question about a scelly is on the basis that they tend to be frame forks an engine and they do away with leg shields, side panels and the stuff that makes a Lamie a Lamie. Basically a road legal rolling Chassis. It will need to be MOT and registered with the DVLA unless Graham had the log book for the frame he sold you. Don't worry its all doable, but find out some basics about your frame, is it Italian or Indian? It should have some clear frame numbers punched in, behind the engine mount. You can check its year of manufacture on the web, and get a dating certificate from the Lambretta Club of great Britain and others. This way you get an age related plate when you get it registered.

Sounds like a load of tosh as all you want to do is get started and build it. BUT if the numbers are not good it makes life a bit harder, when its DVLA time. I am sure if Graham sold you the frame its Pucker. Come to the club, we don't bite and most of us have bits kicking around that may or may not be free. Also look at the LCGB web site or scootererotica, finally get a copy of Stickys book, the bible for scooter rebuilding. Enjoy it
