Just wanted to make an official Thank you to every one in the Manchester Lyons who helped me out when my GP was stolen, you know who you are but two in particular.  Ric for being fantastic and letting me lend his scooter (simply magic ) for  12 weeks with out which I would have missed  all the ride out's and the IOW Rally.And my old m8 Alan for selling me his Li 150 special, These are the kind of people who make me want to stay scootering.

Drink Driving may get you  Pulled by the Police

Brian Knight e-mailed me this story last week ! so be warned 

I got stopped by traffic cop on way home last night from the club.

He was sat in wait to the left as you come out of the Dog as I was coming up to the exit he pulled out of the

side street and then stopped in the road waiting for me to pull out.

He tailed me as close as he could get and put the lights on just after the chippy... I managed not to stop on

the double yellows or at the bollards further on and jumped out before he did.

Reason for being stopped "I couldn't help noticing you coming off the pub car park"!

Asked if had drink...yes! Asked how many ...2! Then breathalyzed me!

Passed first time!

I thought they had to have a proper reason to stop a driver  ?
